The Whaley House

The Whaley House is a Greek Revival–style residence and museum in Old Town, San Diego, California. It is the oldest brick structure in Southern California, built in 1857. It is a California Historical Landmark No. 65 and is currently maintained by Historic Tours of America, Inc (HTA).

The Whaley House was the home of Thomas Whaley and his family. At various times it also housed Whaley’s general store, San Diego’s second county courthouse, and the first commercial theater in San Diego. The house has “witnessed more history than any other building in the city”.

The Whaley House is considered haunted by many due to a history of tragedies and reported paranormal activity, leading it to be called “America’s Most Haunted House”. Visitors and staff have reported a wide range of phenomena, including disembodied voices, apparitions, and unexplained sounds, often linked to the history of the Whaley family and the land it was built on. People have reported seeing full-bodied apparitions and shadowy figures, including the spirit of Violet Whaley, who died by suicide in the house, and “Yankee Jim” Robinson, a man who was hanged on the property before the house was built. Reports include disembodied footsteps, giggles, and doors slamming. Guests have reported strange sensations, such as feeling cold spots, tingling, or heat, and some have reported feeling a presence or a hand grabbing them. Unexplained movement of objects has also been reported.

This slime is a gorgeous soft clear glitter bomb scented leather-bound pages (bbw) with notes of worn leather, ink stained pages, and cozy vanilla. This clear is so soft and there’s really no way for me to describe it. You just have to feel it. There’s also a moisturizing feel to it. I very very rarely say that a slime has zero tack but it’s pretty close. If you’re not a clear lover, I would  encourage you to just give this one a try. It really does not feel like a typical clear. It fluffs up as only clears can and becomes bubbly, and frothy and snippy snappy. The scent of this is SO good. I know that it has some “unconventional” fragrance notes but there’s nothing unconventional about this fragrance. It smells like fancy perfume!
